Prescription Refills

Please phone your pharmacy directly for refills. Your pharmacist has the most accurate information needed to expedite this process. Since some prescriptions require preauthorization, please allow at least 24 hours for your refill to be completed. Some preauthorization's may take up to one week.  Please check with your pharmacist to ensure your prescription is ready.
In the event a written prescription is required, as for controlled substances and mail order pharmacies, please call our main line at 540-347-5512.

Weekend Policy For Narcotics & Regular Refills...
It is the patient's responsibility to judge when their medicine supply is low. Please assess your medicine supply before the weekend. Doctors have many weekend responsibilities including office coverage, hospital coverage, phone triage and emergency room coverage. As a result, they will not be able to call in medicine refills on the weekends, especially narcotic pain medicines. If you take narcotic pain medicines and you need your prescription refilled, it is your responsibility to obtain refills from your individual provider before the weekend and before the office closes. Physicians on weekend and after hours call will not refill narcotic pain medicines.
